“In a remarkable demonstration of public interest, political momentum and tenacious organization, the Spokane Smart Justice Campaign packed a convention hall at the Northern Quest Casino last Friday (November 9th) for its Smart Justice Symposium. The symposium was staged only weeks after the campaign announced its kickoff.

“During the course of a long day, the overflow crowd heard from nearly 30 speakers on subjects ranging from therapeutic courts, to electronic home monitoring, to what re-entry to society looks like to those coming home from prison.”
